Sirloin steak aged for minimum of 28 days for tenderness and full flavour
Dry Aged West Country Beef Sirloin Steak 200-227g (8oz)
King James I is said to have ‘Knighted’ a particularly tasty loin of beef during a meal at Hoghton Tower, near Preston in Lancashire in 1617. The tower was playing host to the King as he and his retinue made their way from Scotland to London.
Whether you believe the ‘Arise Sir Loin’ story or not, our 28 day dry aged, West Country Beef Sirloin Steak is the stuff of legend. A much fuller flavour than Rib Eye or Fillet, the Sirloin lends itself to stronger flavour sauces. At 7-8 ounces, this version is for the smaller appetite.
